WebAug 13, 2024 · Since I tuned the acceleration for my printer, I get pretty good total printing time estimates in Cura. It would be easy (but tedious) to cut my model layer per layer and note the "total time" for each instance. I expect that the result would probably be as good as for the total model. It also works with OctoPrint – which we use to control our 3D printer remotely. We like that with Cura you can control which parameters you want to see – while “hiding” the others.

WebDec 19, 2024 · You will have to restart Cura after loading it. Load your model and select it. Right click and the top command will be Mesh Tools. One of the tools is "Split Models into Parts".
