It takes an active interest in local conservation issues, and has ties with the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO), Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), the County Ecologist, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT) and other conservation bodies.
